The 2022 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru comes from 54-year-old vines and sees a ten-month élevage. The nose sports a clever, discrete reduction, well-defined and energetic, with touches of dried honey, wet stone and oyster shells. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, good concentration and a judiciously spiced, quite persistent finish.
