The domaine consists of only 25 hectares and has been in the Gautheron family for five generations. Typically, this domain makes traditional Chablis, with no wood involved in the fermentation or maturation, but this Bougros Grand Cru is aged entirely in oak, which provides a soft edge to the typical acidity and flintiness and an incredibly long finish.
