THE BOTTLE: JEIO PROSECCO BRUT aka THE SPRITZ BASE
START WITH THE SPARKLING!:
Our choice for any spritz base: Jeio Prosecco Brut. This sparkling wine is produced by Bisol, a historic winemaking family in the Valdobbiadene region of Veneto, Italy. The Bisol family has been cultivating vines in the region since the 16th century, with the modern brand "Jeio" created as a tribute to Desiderio Bisol (nicknamed “Jeio”) in the mid-20th century.
This Prosecco is made from Glera grapes, following the Charmat method, which preserves the wine’s fresh, fruity character. Jeio Prosecco Brut is known for its crisp, dry profile with vibrant acidity. On the palate, it offers flavors of green apple, pear, citrus, and white flowers, with fine, persistent bubbles and a clean, refreshing finish. It’s the perfect base for all your Spritz cocktail recipes including our favorites listed below.
Ways to Use It:
The classic from Venice. Dry, bold, and iconic. Pour all ingredients into a lowball with ice.
3 oz Jeio Prosecco Brut
2 oz Cappelletti Vino Aperitivo Americano Rosso
1 oz soda water
Garnish: Green olive and orange slice
A sparkling twist on the Negroni—bittersweet and sophisticated. Pour all ingredients into a large wine glass with ice.
2 oz Jeio Prosecco Brut
1 oz Campari Aperitivo
1 oz Cocchi Torino Vermouth
Garnish: Orange wheel
Herbal and aromatic, with rich Italian depth. Pour all ingredients into a wine glass with ice.
3 oz Jeio Prosecco Brut
1.5 oz Averna Amaro Siciliano
1 oz soda water
Garnish: Lemon peel
Punchy and vibrant with a dry finish. Pour all ingredients into a lowball with ice.
