Description
This is a fantastic bottle of wine made from estate grown fruit and from a region that still manages to remain a relative bargain. Predominately Cabernet with small additions of classic Bordeaux varietals (Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot and Cab Franc). Deeply aromatic, the nose is full of dark fruit and mint, a dusty cocoa note and a bit of earth. The smooth flavors show cherry, black berry, toast and an excellent balance on the finish of both vanilla and bright acidity. Worthy of gifting but priced to enjoy with more frequency than many Cabs this well made. Pair this with Beef Daube.
