Yuu Baal Mezcal is made by producers in San Juan del Rio, San Luis del Rio, Tlacolula, and Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. The reposado is aged for six months in American white oak barrels, lending it a pale golden color. It exhibits persimmon and vanilla on the nose, followed by salted caramel on the palate, giving way to a gentle smoky flavor and spicy (allspice, nutmeg, clove, Saigon cinnamon) finish.
