Description
Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesca and Touriga Nacional are the major grape varieties, and all grapes are trodden by foot and fermented in the lageres at Quinta do Noval. The wine is then aged 4 ½ years in old wooden vats of various sizes. A deep, rich brick red color, the nose is ripe, vigorous and fruity. The palate delivers a mouthful of fresh red fruits, with a solid tannic structure and a long, harmonious finish.
