Quinta do Noval is perhaps one of Portugal’s more traditional port producers. This bottling is more modern in its packaging and a bit less ruggedly tannic than some of their wines, but this beauty is ALL port. The grapes are traditional, the methods are traditional and the result is deep dark fruit, with well infused spice notes, and a lingering finish. It’s a great partner for a chocolate brownie.
