This Spätlese (late harvest) Riesling is a selection by Terry Theise and I couldn’t agree with this selection more. It is beautifully balanced with rich, warm mouth feel and then sweet and creamy on the palate. It has a distinct note of slate which is typical of a wine from the Mosel. The creamy richness of this Spätlese would be wonderful with a meal of scallops!
