Phoenix vineyard is nestled at the base of Mt. Veeder, overlooking Oak Knoll District, and planted to an assemblage of Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, all intermixed. One of the most gifted viticulturalists in Napa, Steve Matthiasson added additional heritage selections of those varieties to complement the unique shale soils.
