A certified Sommelier, Amy comes to us from Oregon, where she spent most of her career in the restaurant industry with an emphasis on Fine Dining. Her knowledge and pairing expertise doesn’t stop at wine, but includes spirits and beer, too! She’s a dog lover and immediately knew that Surdyk’s was a great fit for her when she was warmly greeted by the office dogs, Corzo and Chorizo, during her interview. Beyond wine and dogs, her passions include cooking, yoga, and spending time outdoors – she’s especially looking forward to exploring our lakes and rivers on her stand-up paddleboard!

the wine questionnaire

Amy takes a stab at "The Wine Questionnaire" by Jay McInerney and tells us about her best experience with wine, how her time in Oregon influenced her love of wine, and when it comes down to it, she loves all the wine world has to offer! (How to choose?!)

Your Best Wine Memory

What wine do you wish you could taste?
Chateau d’Yquem from my birth year.

Every wine collection should include:
Something new to you. Explore!

What country would you visit for its vineyards?
France

If you could only drink one wine for the rest of your life, what would it be?
