Description
Like tequila, raicilla is an agave spirit produced in the Mexican state of Jalisco, but it has its own distinctive identity. This iteration of La Venenosa is distilled in the mountains above Puerto Vallarta by maestro mezcalero Jose Salcedo from a mix of Lechugilla and Chico Aguiar agaves. It has aromas of orange peel, oregano, and green apple, followed by flavors of lemongrass, cinnamon, and oak.
