Description
Kistler owns or leases just under 60 acres of prime Pinot Noir vineyards in some of the coolest sites of western Sonoma County. Each vineyard is planted with proprietary heritage clones and is marked by extremely low yields usually producing about two tons per acre. The Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is from vineyard sites that are cooler resulting in darker wine with more concentration and structure than its Russian River counterpart.
