(Jumilla) Nice dark rich garnet color. Gorgeous nose of dried raisins and spices, some dark ripe blackberries, plums, and figs, stewed with a little tobacco and clove. Nice spice with dark ripe fruit that is very well balanced with some sweet tannins and some soft oak. Very smooth mouth feel and medium to full body. This is one of my favorite wines for a great price. This is 100% Monastrell, (Mourvedre) and pairs nicely with Spanish tapas, Manchego cheeses and Serrano ham.
