I can’t say enough good things about this Chardonnay. It’s just classic California from front-to-back. Yes, it has some oak. Yes, it’s a bit tropical and rich. But dang, it’s got bright acid and the balance across the palate is so beautiful. I’d put it up against the Ramey RRV Chardonnay that’s twice the price (and don’t mistake me, I love the Ramey, too). I’ll confess that whenever I walk past this wine on the shelf and it catches my eye I usually think “hey, lover” and smile. - Peter Plaehn, Wine Buyer
