One of the old six Bordeaux grapes that now only survives in Chile, Carmenere tends to present dark fruits and a smoky edge. Dark ruby violet, with a welcomingly soft and slightly sweet nose of ripe dark fruit. Earthy and smoky berries with notes of chocolate and a black velvet texture.
