This is one of the rare, small, non-classified estates in the St. Julien appellation (which is dominated by classified growths) that has not been snatched up by one of its renowned neighbors, so it's no surprise that Ch. Lalande is characterized by its exceptional terroir. This 38 acre vineyard is in one unbroken, continuous parcel of land with classified growth provenance. Lalande produces exceptionally elegant wine at an affordable price, of course coming to us through our friends from Aquitaine.
