Description
Semillon 65%, Sauvignon Blanc 35% Ch. Guiraud got Organic Farming certification in early 2011 and has managed the vineyard using organic methods since 1996. Fermentation in oak barrels 90% new 10% from a first wine for 3 to 6 weeks. Aged in barrels for 18 to 24 months. This vintage is simply extraordinary. A powerful, very aromatic wine that present a perfect alcohol-sugar-acidity balance and an impressive purity of botrytis. The palate shows pink grapefruit, lemon confit, and notes of apricot.
