Description
The Tilia tree (or Linden as we know it here in the US) is found in many of Mendoza’s vineyards and was chosen for this label because it offers a shady place for vineyard workers to have a mid-day rest. Here we have a very affordable, very good wine that represents the varietal quite well. The nose exhibits ripe black fruit, black pepper and hints of violet blossoms. There’s more of the same in the mouth; showing blackberry, black plum, subtle spice and hints of leather. Nicely structured but soft enough to drink without food as many people like to do these days.
