Chenin Blanc can make very profound wines at any sweetness level from bone dry to full on dessert. In CA, it doesn’t seem to get the respect it deserves. Thus many of us wine drinkers owe Pine Ridge Winery a big “Thank You” for making this wine. Primarily Chenin Blanc, with a lovely portion of Viognier. The fruit flavors run the gamut from green apple, to pear and on to peach pit, all the while avoiding a dip into sweetness. This flavorful wine is tasty on its own, but pair it with Roasted Curry Vegetables on Brown Rice (very healthy and wonderfully tasty).
