Pikasi is the producer located in Slovenia near its border with northeast Italy. Pinela is a relatively rare white grape variety that produces top quality wines which exhibit both lovely fruit and lively minerality. It resembles Sauvignon Blanc without the grassy notes, or basic white burgundy without the price tag.
