Description
The Di Lenardo family has been making wine in the Friuli region since the 1800's and pride themselves in making wines that go beyond the typical. For years this wine was called "Tocai" but the name is no longer used for any Italian wine. The "Toh" name remains and the grape, Fruliano, yields the same lush, fresh fruit flavors as years past. The grapes for Toh! are hand-harvested, spend plenty of time on the lees to extract full flavor, and are stainless steel fermented to preserve all the beautiful fruit. On the palate the wine has a roundness with flavors of peaches and apricots, with nice minerality and acidity to make it balanced and food friendly. Drink with chicken dishes, pasta primavera or a diverse array of cheeses.
