Description
This wine represents terrific value in Cabernet Sauvignon. There’s good tannic structure without toughness, along with the typical flavors of cabernet-black currant (cassis, black cherry and chocolate. The distinct terroir of Paso Robles also influences the aromatics of the wine with the area’s characteristic forest-y scents. Blending of small percentages of Petite Sirah, Merlot, Petite Verdot, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc add to the complexity. Enjoy with burgers, steaks and grilled meats. 2011 San Francisco Chronicle Gold Medal winner.
