Description
Founded in 1753, Hampden Estate has been distilling rum for almost three centuries in the Trelawny Parish, historically known as the grand cru of Jamaican rum. This 8-year-old rum perfectly embodies the aromatic complexity and versatility that Hampden Estate is known for, making it a great allrounder for both sipping and mixing. On the nose it’s voluptuous and intense, with notes of ripe banana, allspice, dried orange zest, and baked apple. On the palate there are pleasant notes of ginger, vanilla, dark chocolate and coffee bean, resin and praline.
