Description
The Reverdy family’s roots in the village of Verdigny stretch back to the 16th century, making Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy part of a long tradition of Sancerre winegrowing. The small, family-run estate farms 14 hectares, including 11 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc planted across the region’s chalky caillottes and clay-limestone terres blanches soils. This Sancerre Blanc brings these two terroirs together, combining the bright fruit and freshness of the stony limestone soils with the depth and structure of terres blanches. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and bottled young to preserve its freshness, it’s a pure, lively expression of Sauvignon Blanc with vibrant fruit, fine acidity and the mineral character that makes Sancerre so distinctive.
