This Armagnac is a blend of 4 different vintages, with the youngest being 10 years of age. It first ages in a new cask made from the local wood from the Gascony Forest for about one year. Following that, the spirit is moved to older Gascon wood barrels for the remainder of the ageing period. It has notes of baked apples, spices, cinnamon, and honey on the nose, and fruity, caramel, vanilla, pear, and butterscotch flavors.
