Description
A nod to the Rhone Valley, and named for the fossil remnants of the creatures that once lived on these limestone-filled vineyards in McLaren Vale. The blend of 65% Viognier and 35% Marsanne brings lush flavor that includes stone fruit, pineapple, candied citrus and ginger, with a balance of sweet fruit and savory notes on the finish. So carefully made, both the Viognier and the Marsanne are vinified separately with attention to detail, such as oak aging only a portion of each wine before blending, prior to bottling. - Noelle Starr
