For this mezcal, Código 1530 partnered with a small village of artisanal families in the San Juan del Rio region of Oaxaca, Mexico. Made from a mix of Espadin and Tobala agaves and rested in Sauvignon Blanc wine barrels from Napa Valley, Codigo Artesenal Mezcal has floral aromas and flavors of mandarin orange citrus, dark cherry, earth, stone, clay, and gentle smoke.
