"Oaky", "Fruity," and "Buttery" are just a few of the labels applied to Chardonnay. While this is certainly true of a few wine regions (ahem, Napa Valley), the stereotype simply doesn't hold up once you go elsewhere. The Around The World series will take a look at six different Chardonnays from a variety of global wine regions, some famous and some not. And while Chardonnay and California are closely linked, this class will explore only one from California - the rest will represent France, South America, New Zealand, and the Pacific Northwest.
