An extraordinary Tuscan wine to rival the best of neighboring Montalcino Brunellos. This “Riserva” gets extra aging and is made with 90% estate grown Sangiovese Grosso grapes. The last 10 years have been stellar. Rich and distinctive flavors of darker red berries and black currant. Dry and bold, yet soft tannic structure. One of my personal store favorites.
