Seagrass highlights the grassy oceanside notes of rye and the opulence and spice of finishing barrels. It is a blend of American and Canadian rye whiskeys, each finished separately in Martinique Rhum, Madeira, & apricot brandy barrels. High concentrations of bright, fruity esters lend a perfume-like character to the aroma. Sweet and juicy on the palate, opening with pear, lychee, and white grapefruit, with classic rye flavors of cinnamon, rosemary, fennel seed, and rosehip not far behind.
