Description
Jamaica's Appleton Estate, in continuous operation since 1749, makes their 12-year-old rum from a blend of pot and column still distillates, all aged for at least 12 years before being selected in the cask by master distiller Joy Spence. The result is a smooth and sophisticated expression of aged rum revealing aromas of toasted oak, dried fruit, and hazelnut followed by notes of dark cocoa, delicate molasses, orange peel, rich vanilla, and hints of coffee.
