Description
Warre's Warrior Port. The first vintage Port that I ever bought was Warre 1994. I had a bottle in 2004 and one in 2010, and I have a few left. I have always liked Warre’s style, and when I can’t justify opening a vintage bottle or a late-bottled vintage, this will do nicely. It has loads of ripe black cherry and dark plum fruit. The finish is long and ends with a dark chocolate note. Try this with some Bleu d’Auvergne from Surdyk’s Cheese Shop. Terrence French
