Description
Charanda, Mexico's only denomination of origin for a sugarcane spirit, can only be made in 16 municipalities in the state of Michoacán. Uruapan's version is a single-estate blend of equal parts fresh-pressed sugarcane and molasses. The unique split between cane juice and molasses makes this an extremely versatile cocktail ingredient-try it in a Daiquiri or as the solo spirit in a Mai Tai to showcase its range and flexibility.
