First, I should say I truly never thought I would be a fan of orange wine, and now, I always keep a bottle at home. The light, juicy and refreshing flavor is a perfect go-to after a long day. When this bottle came into the store, it quickly became part of my “orange wine rotation” because of everything I just mentioned. Made from the Sauvignon Blanc varietal, this Chilean wine is a perfect bottle to keep on hand or grab as a last-minute purchase for those upcoming picnics and BBQ’s! Coming from the Curció Valley, south of the capital Santiago, this wine is a perfect example of how the Mediterranean climate can produce a beautifully balanced and aromatic wine. Mouthwatering flavors of peach, apricot, and orange peel are all bundled together with a beautiful bow of acid to make this refreshing natural wine still feel lively and balanced. If you’re trying to get into drinking orange wine, this is a perfect bottle to start. My biggest recommendation, try it with our Greek Orzo Salad in the cheese shop, I promise you won’t regret it! ¡Salud!
