Description
Japanese gin made from a base spirit of 100% rice at the Tsutsumi Distillery in Kyushu, Japan. Distilled 6 times in a copper-lined, stainless steel pot still. Botanicals added directly to the still during final distillation include Macedonian and Himalayan juniper, young ginger, orris root, and rotating varieties of seasonal citrus. Big, bold aromas of yuzu, juniper, sansho peppercorn, and orange oil precede a spicy palate highlighting piney juniper, earthy ginger root, and vibrant lime with Mandarin orange and soft rice sweetness.
