Description
The current owners of Landskroon Winery are brothers Paul and Hugo de Villiers, descendants of Jugo de Villiers, who settled in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa in 1692. Their family-owned vineyard and winery is located 40 minutes east of Cape Town, on the southwestern slopes of Paarl Mountain. This rose wine is made from the Pinotage grape, which is a South African blend of Pinot Noir and Cinsault that preserves the fruity nature of Pinot Noir with the floral and spice notes of the Cinsault grape. Crisp fruit, subtle spice, and a lively finish round out the palate on this perfect sipper.
