Description
Named after Islay's largest freshwater lake neighboring the distillery, the dark murky color of the loch's water is reflected in the rich coppery tones of Kilchoman's annual sherry-matured Loch Gorm release. The 2022 edition was matured in oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of eight years. On the palate, an initial note of dark chocolate and toasted walnuts gives way to gentle tobacco smokiness, hints of caramel and dates, accompanied by subtle warming peat smoke.
