Dôle is a traditional Valais AOC that denotes a blend of pinot noir and gamay grapes, where pinot noir must dominate. Additionally, this Dôle come from the Grand Cru vineyard Balavaud, and from parcels rich in alluvial soil and gravel. Maceraion and fermentation occur in stainless steel before being racked for an additional 8 months in stainless on the fine lees.
