Hess has been a consistent and reliable California Chardonnay for many years. It provides us with a true Chard taste that has a clarity and honest fruit palate. There is some oak here that offers a hint of buttery flavor but it is paired with enough acidity to make this a good food wine. You’ll find good fruit character of ripe apple and tropical fruit with a crisp refreshing finish. Great party wine or try with herb crusted cheeses from Surdyk’s cheese shop.
