Description
This exquisite wine hails from the elevated vineyards of Cima-Corgo in Alijó, boasting an average altitude of 600 meters, where it thrives in schist and granite-derived soils. Crafted from hand-picked Moscatel Galego grapes selected from 40-year-old vineyards, this wine undergoes a meticulous winemaking process. The grapes are harvested at the outset of September, and the whole clusters are gently placed into cement tanks without any mechanical extraction. A skin maceration of 4 months ensues, with pressing occurring at the end of January. This wine is a testament to purity, with no added SO2, no fining, and no filtration.
