D2 is a Bordeaux style red from Washington that rivals many of the old-world bottles at twice the price. Merlot and Cab Sauv make up the lion's share, with small amounts of Cab Franc and Petit Verdot blended in. Bing cherry and black currant, violet and mint, and graphite and cedar, are just the beginning of the aromatics and flavors. Drinking beautifully now and will hold for 5-10 more years if cellared properly.
