The distinct green color of Cloosterbitter is the result of 17 carefully selected herbs which are used to give Cloosterbitter its incomparable taste. Some of the Frisian herbs used to create this Cloosterbitter are nettle, daisy, dandelion, mint, clover, angelica, anise, gentian white nettle, and thousand leaf. The other six remain a family secret.
