This particular rosé is special for many reasons. First, it was one of the top three rosés we tried, from anywhere on the planet, during the course of our staff tastings of rosés recently. Second, we are told that Surdyk's is the only retailer in the U.S. to get any. Luzon has undergone a generational change at the top of their winemaking team, and the new guy is really driving great quality right now, but this is their first rosé vintage, and they didn't make enough to go around. We were in the right place at the right time, and all of us benefit. All the wines from Luzon are special, but this one stands out.
