The Cheese Shop donuts are some of the best in town!
We experimented and perfected a dough recipe—a raised donut that is yeasty, light, and pleasantly savory—the perfect base for any array of glazes and toppings. This is where we got creative. Looking around the store, we found some of the coolest ingredients to top our donuts. Benton’s bacon, crispy and smoky, languishing atop a pool of maple glaze? Stunning Slovenian sea salt sprinkled over Cordillera dark chocolate ganache? And since we’re also a liquor store, it just made sense to try a boozy variety. Our Irish Breakfast is a recent favorite in these parts: Guinness and rum glaze topped with a dusting of espresso. Toasted coconut, house-made chai spice blend, Limoncello . . . who knows what we’ll pull off the shelf next.
