The palate bursts with blackcurrant, dark cherry, and hints of leather, while a minerally-acidity supports a long, dusky finish. 100% cab franc from one of the Loire’s premier red districts produced by a single cooperative with a 70-year history. This style’s versatility speaks to its reputation as the classic Paris café red. This is an excellent pairing for dry-rubbed or marinated grilled meats, vegetarian dishes (eggplant!), goat cheese salads, duck and lamb.
