Description
This is the only wine of its kind in the entire store, easy. Winemakers Diego and Shaunt start with classic Cali field blend grapes - Carignan, Zinfandel, and Grenache - and ferment them in polyethylene with indigenous yeasts. Then they take 1/3 of the must and do what they call a "reverse saignée'' and press the 1/3 to a rosé, then add the pink juice into the original tanks that now have less skins to create a wine with less concentration and a light, snappy energy. They finish it with minimal sulfur to preserve flavor. Great at room temp or chilled, it's just plain fun.
