Description
The vineyard, located in the Santa Maria Valley, has a direct sightline to the Pacific Ocean, and harsh conditions that make the vines really work. The result is a dark, bold style of Pinot Noir. Aged for 11 months in French Oak (35% new) to help settle the fruit's intensity. Big aromatics of black cherry, blueberry, caramel, and pepper lead into more cherry and spice flavors on the palate.
