Description
Planted in 1996 with a variety of Burgundian clones in the coolest part of the Russian River Valley. This location is fog-filled and windy, which produces incredibly refined Pinot Noir. Keefer Ranch is dry farmed. Using several of the clones in the blend, a large portion was fermented in wood tanks to help showcase the fruit. Aged for 16 months in French oak. Lithe and bright with notes of black cherry, raspberry, subtle vanilla, and black licorice.
