Description
Founders Dan Kosta and Michael Browne met working in a restaurant in 1997. By 2011, their 2009 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir was named Wine Spectator's #1 Wine of the Year. Their bottles are among the jewels in many collector's cellars. With deep fruit flavors of blue and blackberries, hints of rich pie crust, cream, and toast. 14% of the wine was whole cluster fermented to provide structure to the bold fruit flavors. It shows great balance between the lush fruit and lifting acidity. Gaps Crown is a love letter to the Petaluma Gap in southern Sonoma County.
