Aromas are of pear and crisp ripe apple with some lavender floral notes. Fruit shows a ripe full character but has good acidity to balance. The wine ages on its yeast lees for five months in both French and American oak. A toasty baked bread note is evident and adds to the complexity. Finish is crisp and this is a great wine to pair with baked salmon or have with pasta and white clam sauce.
